lyrics
Miss
In the frilly dress
The worn out sandalettes
With the apron strapped on tight
Would you take my order now
For I, I am in distress
I need you waitress
To look up at me, me
Please
Turn those pretty eyes
Again the sun will rise
And you don’t see me
All I want to ask of you
Might you help my situation
My infatuation
Just stay for a while, while
I know it’s only five AM
But have you poured yourself a cup of tea
Whenever you try to seat yourself
Another balding man with another plea
Please let me take you away
Just for the night if I may
We’ll have it all just your way
I have no coins but with my heart I’ll pay
I can see your moving lips
As you serve the drunk boy chips
He won’t hold down long
A taste, a retch, a turn and dip
No queen should cower on the floor now
And wipe up that rude swine’s chow
I’ll give you a hand, hand
Your nails
Leave crescent moon shaped trails
Upon the ginger ales
Your misery burns me
You need the other end of town
Let’s go
I’ll take you on a night bus
I’m sure it will ignite us
Again and again
I’ve never been this far before
The winding streets are gritting their stone teeth
The picturesque tranquility
Couples holding hands on their native heath
Please let me take you away
Just for the night if I may
We’ll have it all just your way
I have no coins but with my heart I’ll pay
No more potato puree
No sorbet, no parfait, no soufflé
I’ll personally scorch that tea tray
I have no words but I’ll ask you someday
It has depth and range. I had only heard the title track on a radio show and was surprised by the rest of the record. I thought it was going to be kind of rockabilly but they are doing their own thing and its sophisticated and beautiful. _eyeam_good11
Sweet, retro rock. Encapsulates the 60s sound perfectly. Festive, chill; acid dancer. Fun to listen to, great to vibe off of, move your body to, or just relax with. Every song on this album is a hit. Dancing album for sure... I saw them live, same kind of fun! ebookreader
